John Michael Cochinescu  was born on 16 April 1951, in the City Timişoara. His mother, Florica (Pop) Cochinescu was born on 29 May 1919 in the village Moigrad (Porolissum) jud.Sălaj and died on 14 June 2008 in the City Bucharest and his father, Florian Cochinescu was born on 14 April 1918 in the village SINEŞTI-Potcoava, Olt county and died on 15 February 1998 in muncipiul Ploieşti. During high school, John Michael Cochinescu  initiate and conduct clandestine magazine“Hunger literary”  (1969-1970). Since 1968, made movies and documentary footage to Studio Short Cinematography “16 February 1933″ of  Cineclubul C.F.R. Timişoara under the direction of  filmmakers Dragos Sandu. It is awarded to the scenario and directed the film“When people play”  Bucharest, 1969 (see “Hobbies 16 mm, red. Dragoş Sandu, Eugen Sandu, Joseph Costinaş Victor Gligor, etc. pag.178, Polygraphic Enterprise” Banat “of Timişoara com.194/1971) . The film presents Romanian Television  in 1970, to obtain  Hiroshima (Japan), 1975, Grand Prize and Gold Medal. In the period 1974-1980, is professor of classical guitar, violin, piano and the aesthetic Pedagogical School in Ploiesti.  Starting in 1980, is professor of aesthetics, piano and computer image processing toSchool of Arts “Carmen Sylva” in Ploiesti.

Literary work, film, art and photo editing

Literature

Literature began with the short prosemagazine“Argeş”  in Pitesti(1968). Stories published in magazines for children of the age and the anthology“Relay race fantasy”  (coordinated by Mircea Sântimbreanu, 1968). During student,Cochinescu  published articles and press interviews in Bucharest. Participate in the’80s in the work of Bucharest cenacluri known as:“Junimea” led by the criticOvidiu S. Crohmalniceanu,“Cenaclul months”  led by ProfessorNicolae Manolescu,“Cenaclul I. L. Caragiale”  in Ploiesti, and some almost anonymous, in Campina, Mizil, or Pucioasa Slănic. Collaborate withEquinox TheaterPloieşti led by the directorMihai VasileTrying thus wiped out as many of his colleagues optzecişti effect nepublicării in literary magazines or books, as a result of censorship practiced in age.
